Your original ideas need to be put into a protectable form and this will require different procedures depending on whether your avenue of protection is for copyright or patentable ideas.

You can think of the distinction this way: The Patent System grants monopoly rights to exploit inventions; Copyright is not intended to grant monopoly rights, but rather the right to copy etc.

If your ideas are capable of being put into a protectable form then this service can:

1. Assist you in making informed decisions on the business structure for ownership, funding and exploitation for the benefit of all parties involved; and

2. To ensure that the right decisions are taken as to confidential disclosures. A limited form of disclosure may be necessary to those persons who may assist with seed capital, marketing and R&D advice.

We will estimate the cost of protection and when necessary the appointment of a patent attorney will be considered.
